Product Marketing & Customer Service Rep (Hybrid)

Job Highlights

  • Customer order management (customer contact, timely order entry and processing, order confirmation, price maintenance, availability check of material)
  • Responsible for tracking order status (internal/external) and managing supply chains, including planning, shipment, importation, delivery and invoicing
  • Process customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment timing, etc.
  • Assist Marketing & Sales with receivables and credit limit requests
  • Work in conjunction with 3rd party logistics providers on any order fulfillment questions as well as on troubleshooting any shipping problems as they occur
  • Support Marketing & Sales with the development and maintenance of forecasts and budgets, track and report business performance on a periodic basis (e.g. monthly report)
  • Constant review of inventory and replenishment planning with Production Planner
  • Work with Lanxess Group Functions to ensure US and global laws & Lanxess policies and procedures are followed, particularly Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Controlling and Accounting


  • Must-haves: 
    • BA/BS degree (business- or logistics-oriented) and 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service related field, or proven equivalent know-how and experience
    • Good SAP S4 Hana skills
    • Good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Good organizational, communication and time management skills
    • Problem-solving / continues improvement attitude
    • Proactive behavior
