Job Highlights

  • Responsible for managing supply chain, including planning, shipment, importation, and delivery of Business Unit (BU) Saltigo products
  • Receive, review, prioritize and enter customer orders into the SAP system in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer requirements
  • Support the Business Managers in developing business plans, forecasts, budgets, pricing strategies and the implementation thereof
  • Support the Business Managers re. customer interactions (i.e. conference calls, trade shows, customer visits), customer visit preparation (product specific reports) and follow-up (i.e. CRM tool)
  • Work with Group Functions to ensure US and global laws & Lanxess policies and procedures are followed, particularly IEA, P&L, Law & IP, and Controlling/Accounting
  • Tracking and reporting business performance on a periodic basis (i.e. monthly report)
  • Ensure global and regional profitability, DSO and DSI expectations for assigned products are met
  • Function as the main contact person for the FIT Project
  • Credit and debit notes (approval by Regional BU Head)
  • Pricing block removal (approval by Regional BU Head)
  • Credit block removal (approval by Regional BU Head)
  • Customer & Material Master Data entry/change requests (approval by Regional BU Head)



  • Business or finance oriented undergraduate degree - Chemistry, Marketing & Sales experience or graduate degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical skills
  • SAP S4 Hana experience
  • Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
