Job Highlights

  • Assist with digitalization project by reviewing paper product files and scanning key documents for future use in the digital system.
  • Assist project manager with updating our Responsible Care Product Stewardship Brochures by reviewing, organizing and researching new information for our current documents, and prioritizing additional products to have brochures created for them.
  • Assist product manager with creating and updating a tracking system to track transportation incidents and audit findings.
  • Compilation of studies (physical-chemical, toxicology, ecotoxicology) in the Toxicology SharePoint site; assignment of study value for each study.
  • Professional development with exposure to regulatory affairs and hazard communication in a chemical manufacturing company, including regulations, product stewardship, Safety Data Sheets and Labeling, and other product safety topics. 
  • Work closely with product safety and regulatory affairs team to learn the responsibilities of the various jobs within this department and the reliance on chemistry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Classroom experience in core chemistry -  Major of Chemistry, Biology or Related Science with at least 1 year of Chemistry
  • Strong analytical skills and structured work style
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills - Office and other databases
  • Strong project management skills
