Job Highlights

  • Regional HR Partner serves as the primary point of contact for members of senior management on HR related matters and plays a key strategic role in the overall regional and global HR function 
  • Provides strategic generalist support, leadership and direction in handling a variety of employee relations issues for multiple BU and GF client groups in the NORAM region
  • Provides counsel and guidance on the development of employee related plans and programs that consider employee needs as well as the needs of the businesses and group functions
  • Interprets, analyzes and responds to the needs and complex problems of managers and employees, which directly influence the morale and success of the business unit/group function
  • Ensures regulatory compliance in all aspects of human resources support including recruitment, personnel planning, terminations (including Reduction in Force reviews), selected training, etc.
  • Coaches and counsels employees and management in problem solving situations regarding employee relations issues, performance problems, etc.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for members of NORAM senior management on HR related matters and plays a key strategic role in the overall regional and global HR function
  • Partner with all areas of HR (HR Business Partner, HR Services, Total Rewards, and HR IT) to provide exceptional client service on all matters that come to HR


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Senior or Professional Human Resources certification and/or Labor Relations certification preferred
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience; previous experience in a plant manufacturing or industrial environment and/or collective bargaining unit is preferred
  • Ability to interpret and apply corporate policies and provide counsel and guidance to employees and management in enforcement of these policies
  • Demonstrated ability to constructively coach and counsel employees in situations that may be emotionally charged
  • Diverse corporate, consulting and global HR experience preferred
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and a fast-paced environment with minimal resources
