Job Highlights

  • Responsible for preparation and project coordination of complex biocidal product registration dossiers including interaction with testing laboratories to obtain data required in the registration submission and support of LANXESS biocidal products under US EPA FIFRA and Canada (PMRA).
  • Manage communication and close collaboration with customers, business teams and US federal and state authorities and Canada (PMRA) for biocide registration topics. 
  • Interaction with regional and global contacts in the business unit
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and relevant trade associations to improve regulatory outcomes and compliance.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of the current FIFRA and PMRA regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines for registration of biocides and pesticides by the EPA, and state agencies and PMRA or at a minimum experience with regulations and the ability to develop knowledge of national and international registration requirements and legal developments relevant to biocides and pesticides.
  • Ability to independently interpret, evaluate and effectively communicate technical material and government regulations (FIFRA, CDPR, PMRA and FDA) policies to LANXESS customers and employees.
  • A minimum of a BS in chemistry, biology,  engineering  or related field
  • Experience in the biocide or pesticide registration is a plus
  • Strong communication, project management and organizational skills
