Job Highlights

Responsible for maintaining the Intermediates business logistics flow and pricing across the customer base. Continue to look for cost savings opportunities on the inbound freight side while also looking at new warehousing concepts (POE vs. warehouse, etc.) to provide maximum margin potential for the company.
Responsible for managing the inbound flow of import material sourced from Europe.
Maintain the regional Order Intake Report (OIR) on a daily basis which is critical in lending needed transparency to the monthly sales development within the region.
Main regional point of contact for any IBP-related activities within the region, such as:
Analyzing sales performance vs. forecast volumes and sales plan and address any anomalies with the key stakeholders (i.e., sales) on a regular basis.
Establishing a monthly “IBP Review Meeting”, together with the Heads of Sales/Supply Chain, along with the account managers (AM) to discuss specifics around the largest customers.
Establishing forecast accuracy/bias metrics and provide the necessary know-how to support the team in improving the performance within said KPI’s.
Responsible for coordinating unexpected sales developments within the month in tandem with regional Product Planner.
Responsible for all customer service duties associated with defined set of strategic customers. Also, responsible to serve a backup role should any of the CSR's be absent.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field.
Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
5 - 10 years of relevant experience required in a Supply Chain function.
Strong and proven experience in product planning, inventory control and product management functions.
Demonstrated excellent competency in demand analysis, forecasting, as well as very experienced in all related processes.
Demonstrated strong problem resolution capabilities in respect to imported materials and associated supply chain problems.
Excellent and working knowledge of SAP and BW with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience a must.
Limited travel may be required.
Position is partially remote with the expectation of 3 - 4 days in the office each week.
