We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the Rubber Additives business. This role will be focused on managing and growing sales within the U.S. and Canadian markets, providing tailored solutions to customers, and expanding our presence in the rubber additives sector.
As a Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth by building strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our high-quality rubber additive solutions. You will play a critical role in positioning our company as a trusted partner in the market.
Job Highlights
- Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling additional products.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets in the rubber additives market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including tire manufacturers, rubber product manufacturers, and other industry players.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers to ensure the optimal use of our products in their processes.
- Identify and pursue new leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and trade shows.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including development, marketing, and product management, to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, and promote new products.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to track progress against goals and inform decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in rubber additives, specialty chemicals, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of rubber additives markets and their applications in manufacturing preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and close sales.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Exposure to systems like CRM, IBP, SAP etc.
