Job Highlights

  • Responsible for managing & further developing business with all assigned Polymer Additives Division (PLA) customers within the territory and Key Accounts
  • Develop senior level customer relationships which will further PLA and Lanxess
  • Develop account penetration, development, and growth strategy
  • Provide market intel which will help the global PLA Commercial team understand global trends
  • Work with Customer Service and Supply Chain to ensure PLA receives accurate monthly forecasts and as a result of these forecasts increases customer service
  • Develop and annual budget for the territory
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Management to develop key target projects within the territory


  • BS degree in technical discipline, with a minimum of at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to interface and negotiate within the Executive level
  • Proven communications, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels in the organization
  • Highly motivated to work independently, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Desire to succeed and win at the sales interface
  • This position requires approximately 50% travel.
