Senior IT Analyst - Data & Compliance

Job Highlights

  • Support the Global Label Management (GLM) system, on a daily basis, addressing IT questions, developing and assuring the operation of the application and landscape required to generate product and customer specific labels.  Includes user support, design/adaptation, system updates, testing, projects, generation and activation of labels as well as the configuration of the operation system (generation variants, paper formats)
  • Responsible for the correct provision of safety, dangerous goods, shipping and customer labels for all relevant products, and knowledge of relevant legal regulations
  • Ensure incidents are handled in a timely manner and effectively collaborates with global IT Data Compliance (DC) responsible contacts, key contacts/stakeholders within the NORAM GF PTSE product safety and regulatory affairs (PSRA) organization
  • Perform first and second level support - responsibility includes applications, processes, training, technical system checks. Generates, manages, and processes print requests based on legal or business requirements. Releases labels and oversees printers within area of SAP support responsibility
  • Contribute as a team member to major project initiatives, particularly those involving the ongoing operations of SAP GLM for the Americas region. Processes label data for materials and specifications, report generation variants for all required report templates, and creates and processes label stocks
  • Configure system/application enhancements within area of support responsibility (includes WWI servers, FIORI Frontend, SAP Gateways). Develop, maintain, and support product label template design and maintenance for GLM

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree (business/technology preferred) and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of IT development and project management life-cycles
  • Working with a global team & ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required
  • Knowledge of ERP/Non-ERP applications, systems, and support methodologies supporting product safety and regulatory affairs (e.g. SAP EHS/GLM, IUCLID). Knowledge of SAP material master, units of measure, label master data, and SAP logistics master data (packing instructions), deliveries, and process orders
  • Knowledge of WWI-technology (based on MS Word)
  • Work experience in ABAP-coding / ABAP object-oriented coding
  • Familiarity with product label template design in SAP GLM
  • German language skills preferred
