Job Highlights

 

  • Oversee and enhance business relationships with all designated Advanced Industrial Intermediates (AII) customers within the region and Key Accounts. This entails managing commercial aspects such as contract negotiations, product pricing, service levels, and payment terms for both new and existing customer portfolios.  This role will be the project leader and have accountability for the growth of the TMP and HDO business line in the region.
  • Create, implement, and communicate strategic plans for customer accounts, focusing on penetration, fostering relationships and outlining growth strategies.
  • Build customer relationships across procurement, technical and operational levels in complex accounts. Cultivate executive-level customer connections to enhance and expand business opportunities for AII and LANXESS.
  • Offer market intelligence to aid the global AII Commercial team in comprehending regional and global market trends.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Supply Chain to guarantee accurate monthly forecasts for AII, leading to improved customer service performance.
  • Create an annual budget for the designated territory.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Management to devise key target projects within the assigned territory.

Experience and Skills

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or closely related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, IBP, SAP L4P and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Capable of operating effectively in both independent and team settings.  Skilled in leading teams and projects with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Exceptional sales negotiations skills.  Ability to interface and negotiate at the executive level.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • This is a HYBRID role located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.  The expectation is that the candidate will be able to be on site at least 3 days per week every week.
