Business Development Manager (On-site)

Job Highlights

  • Lead global, multi-functional teams and manage key strategic projects to ensure implementation success.
  • Identify strategic growth initiatives and interface with senior management to secure commitment to implement.
  • Initiate new product ideas and lead innovation development and launch via stage-gate process.
  • Develop new market growth strategies and lead market entry activities.
  • Engage with M&A targets to forge business partnerships and secure technology access.
  • Manage plant optimization projects including capacity expansions and asset closures.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Chemistry or Engineering or a technical undergraduate degree.  MBA preferred.
  • Prior lubricant experience preferred. Prior business development experience, prior sales/marketing experience and prior leadership/supervisory experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have a collaborative, team oriented, global perspective with strong ownership of tasks and deadlines.
  • Must have a detail oriented business acumen, process efficiency improvement focus and be a continuous learner.
  • Skilled two way communicator, including with senior executives; ability to create and give effective presentations.
  • Previous project management experience with a participative leadership style; entrepreneurial vision with ability to inspire others.
  • Occasional travel required.
