Regional Lead - Network - NORAM

Job Highlights

  • First point of contact for the regional teams utilizing managed environments and manage necessary escalations with third party providers to ensure smooth and secure operation of the network environment

  • Responsible for supporting the relationship between IT and managed/unmanaged service providers.

  • Ensures stable operation of the global network Services and related Infrastructure

  • Guarantee efficient and cost effective Network Lifecycle Management

  • Define, review and further improve the regional Network Services (incl. projects)

  • Participates as a project resource and/or manages medium/large project within their technology area

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is required

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience preferred

  • Experience designing, implementing, and overseeing global networks, including TCP/IP, routing, WAN (MPLS and SD-WAN), LAN, VPN, Wireless, Voice and Video

  • Current hands-on experience working with network devices including switch, routers, wireless controllers, VoIP devices, etc.

  • Deep knowledge of networking concepts and best practices

  • Experienced working in diverse, multi-cultural, globally dispersed teams

  • Proven understanding of ITIL standard processes (certification is a plus). 

  • Active network certification (e.g. CCNP) is a strong plus

  • Project management experience required
