Job Highlights

This position supports the Treasury team in managing day-to-day treasury operations for LANXESS India, ensuring strict compliance with RBI and FEMA guidelines, statutory regulations, and internal policies. The role involves handling accounting entries, cash flow management, foreign exchange exposure, and coordination with banks for documentation and regulatory requirements.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI/FEMA guidelines and statutory norms in all treasury activities.
• Accounting Support: Assist in posting accounting entries in L4P for loans, deposits, fund transfers, and bank charges.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly treasury schedules, weekly FX exposure reports, and cash flow statements.
• Foreign Exchange Management: Submit underlying exposure and FX contracts to banks, monitor FX deals, track forward contract maturities, and provide spot FX rates for trade transactions.
• Cash Flow & Fund Management: Update loans, deposits, and bank balances in ITS; maintain daily funds position; ensure timely fund transfers to meet operational requirements.
• Bank Coordination: Obtain NIL export outstanding certificates, validate bank charges against agreed norms, and prepare annual bank earnings data with monthly analysis.
• Statutory & Compliance Reporting: Prepare stock statements, multiple banking reports, FLA returns, and due diligence data.
• Documentation & Liaison: Coordinate for bank statements, confirmations, GR waiver certificates, statutory payment confirmations, and online stamp duty documentation for LC transactions. Visit banks for submission of treasury documents as needed.
• Monitoring & Control: Track overdue export invoices monthly and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Experience / Skills

• Specific Education : B.COM
• Work Experience : 2 to 3 Years
• Special Skills : Knowledge of excel and SAP is must. Knowledge of treasury & banking processes. Knowledge of RBI guidelines relating to treasury operations. Good communicaton & co-ordination skills. Strong understanding of RBI/FEMA regulations and treasury compliance.Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., L4P) and cash flow management tools. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under strict timelines and manage multiple priorities.
