Job Highlights

  • Lead import clearance team
  • Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the clearance process to avoid delays.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all import activities comply with the latest customs regulations and procedures. Regularly review and update internal policies to reflect changes in customs laws.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Apply comprehensive knowledge of DGFT and FTP regulations to manage import activities effectively.
  • Response Management: Handle show cause notices and respond to customs queries promptly and accurately.
  • SVB Expertise: Handle Special valuation department of Customs for all connected activities and ensure proactive actions to avoid any challenges.  Knowledge on rules and regulations and closure of bonds.
  • Identify potential risks associated with import activities and develop strategies to mitigate them.  Develop and implement contingency plans to address any disruptions in the import process. 
  • Prepare and present regular reports on import activities, compliance status, and any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • Specific Education - Graduate in any stream (B Com, BSc, BA, BBA etc.)
  • Work Experience - 5-6 Yrs.
  • Special Skills - 
  • Deep knowledge of customs regulations, DGFT, FTP, and SVB topics.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in import documentation and compliance.
