Job Highlights

Build LANXESS IN IT strategy based on Global IT strategy, suitable for local Business planning. Focus is on application, automation & relevant latest market needs in manufacturing and Biochemical industry to enhance digital footprint for LANXESS India. Build & operate IT services to support local business needs. Conceptualize & implement LXS IT tools, technologies & processes to be positive value addition to LXS India business.
Improve effectiveness of IT tools & applications by finding out local needs & training users. Supporting the Local infrastructure needs aligning with Infrastructure teams locally and globally. Actively contribute to business operations & business improvement planning & execution.

  • Ensuring management of standard user services, from internal & external providers aligning with India Global Line/Service Managers in India & Infrastructure teams
  • Manage life cycle of devices (computer, mobile phones, etc) setup & assign to users to support & retire
  • Ensure smooth functioning of Service desk & Field support & new automation pipelines
  • Manage lifecycle of software assets
  • Train users on using IT assets & Applications effectively
  • Ideate, plan & execute User trainings
  • Using IT assets effectively (Infrastructure & Software application tools)
  • Data analytics, BR, Power BI, advance excel training
  • Identify new technologies to enable users with new tools e.g. “Copilot” (AI – ChatGPT)
  • Define, setup & execute - local implementation of Global projects
  • Commercials - Define Budget, manage cost control & execute cost reporting.
  • Ensure appropriate contracts & billing accuracy of local / global vendors

  • Specific Education - Graduate in Computer Application
  • Work Experience - 12+ Yrs
  • Special Skills - Digital Transformation Strategies & Application life cycle & Governance
