Job Highlights

Please shortly describe the most important, appealing 5 to 8 tasks of this position:

  • Ensure compliance of annual sales budget for Western Part of India & Middle East, monthly sales planning, receivables mgmt (DSO) in line with targets
  • Key account manager for customers in the respective region. Accountablefor all factors of topline sales & Technical support. Year on year potentials mapping & implementation of strategy for top line sales in line with sales budget 
  • Providing Technical support/knowledge to customer, solving their tech issues, joint trials at customer plant/R&D, attending to complaints (product) and if necessary escalating to HQ for further action.Ensure customer satisfaction through timely support, service on pre and after sales issues such as managing offers, negotiations and collections.
  • Followup & joint visits with the distributors/dealers in the region, mapping the market, analyzing the customers served by distributor/dealer and assessing their performance on half yearly/yearly basis.  Participation/Presentation in tech. seminars. Tracking key competitors & updating internally
  • Exploring new business opportunities through targeted untapped markets & segments in order to enhance the sales growth. New Business should be 5% of regular sales
  • Operational Tasks: Customer Visits on weekly basis, Updation in CRM, Forecast planning in IBP, Internal coordination with SCM,  Finance etc

  • Specific Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry + MBA  /  B.Tech in Paint Technology 
  • Work Experience: Experience in Technical Sales of speciality chemicals to Water Base Paints, Adhesive, Polymer Emulsions, Cons. Chemicals etc
  • Special Skills:Good Communications Skills, MS Office
