Job Highlights

LANXESS operates over 132 Linux-based servers supporting critical business applications across various units. Some applications require advanced security configurations due to external accessibility. To ensure high availability, performance, fault tolerance, and data consistency, it is essential to establish a skilled Linux administration team. This team will manage the environment, perform risk assessments, and provide ongoing application and infrastructure support to maintain secure and efficient operations.

  • High level troubleshooting and escalating known issues to the Application team                                                     
  • Perform Unix Scripting on all Linux servers at LANXESS                                                       
  • Ensure accurate Administation for various server resources and ensure optimization.                                              
  • Develop and propose technical solutions to complex problems and increase efficiency                                                 
  • Maintain and monitor all patch releases and design various patch installation strategies and maintain all systems according to LANXESS standardization using Satellite Server.                                           
  • Perform troubleshoot on all tools and maintain multiple servers and provide back up for all files and script management servers.                                Supporting Oracle databases first level and coordinating issues with DBA      

Requirements

 

  • Specific Education : Any Engg (Red Hat Linux Certified)
  • Work Experience : 8 to 10 Years
  • Special Skills : IT, Application Support, Application Security, SFTP, WIKI
