The West Hill facility began its operations in 1962, The first operation at the West Hill site consisted of a custom blending facility for a major Canadian oil and gas company. In 1992, the property at 565 Coronation Drive was purchased. It currently houses offices, a research and development laboratory and a finished goods warehouse.

Today, around 100 employees work at the West Hill facility where we manufacture Grease and Specialty Additives. Our grease is used to keep machinery running smoothly in food processing, manufacturing, marine, power generation and many other industries. Our Specialty Additives and lubricants are used in automotive, marine and aviation oils, transmission fluids and fuels to enhance performance and extend engine life. West Hill facility is registered under the ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management standards.

 

Job Highlights

 

  • Cease equipment operation in the event of conditions that are of an imminent hazard to equipment, the environment, or plant personnel
  • Completing required blends, labelling containers, stretch wrapping, drumming, container loading and associated valving and piping alignments
  • Updating records and inventory control in SAP
  • Transfer of materials from tank farm to rail car
  • Blending product according to documented procedures
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Responsible to follow all company related policies and procedures
  • Responsible to follow all corporate safety related policies and procedures

Requirements

 

  • Commitment to Safety Excellence
  • Valid Tow Motor License
  • Flexible, good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Adaptable to schedule changes to meet the needs of the business
  • Available to work overtime when required
  • Willingness to take on new tasks as required
  • Able to work comfortably work at heights with fall arrest PPE (e.g. 40 feet)
  • Able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, access equipment, have the ability to work in potentially awkward postures
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to multiple hours per shift (i.e. 75% walking per shift)
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures and all weather conditions (indoor and/or outdoor)
