Technical Applications Manager (Remote possibility)

Job Highlights

  • Provide technical support to ACTIVES customers in North America to meet needs arising from customer enquiries, sample/order shipments and customer / distributor training requests.
  • Maintain and develop strong contact with customers and potential customers
  • Develop protocols and conduct trials with customers. 
  • Use market knowledge, customer relationships, patent & academic literature to generate & sharpen value propositions, in addition to identifying market / customer needs.
  • Train end-users, distributors and sales force in North America region.
  • Create and update technical documents and marketing material
  • Provide technical support to ACTIVES Regulatory Affairs team.
  • Request & coordinate efficacy & analytical tests (internally & externally).


  • Masters degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or Chemistry, PhD in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or Chemistry a plus.
  • Five to ten years of experience within the water treatment industry is a required (experience in a water treatment service company or a provider of water treatment solutions, microbial control products a plus).  
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with customers/external partners and implement technical solutions within the water treatment industry. Demonstrated ability to innovate and define new approaches. Demonstrated record of achievement in a technical role. 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills both externally and internally. 
  • Strong collaboration skills spanning different functions & a confident and proactive attitude are essential.
