LANXESS India was incorporated in India on February 20, 2004, and was named as LANXESS India Private Limited on June 30, 2004. LANXESS India Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is represented through all its business units, operating out of its registered office in Thane and sales office in New Delhi.

We provide specialty chemicals that support diverse end‑use industries, including agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyestuffs, flavors & fragrances, and coatings.

Our products support essential industries, including water treatment, energy generation, microelectronics, and the drinking water and food processing sectors.

Our products play a key role in the paints and coatings industry, helping enhance color quality, durability, and performance across a wide range of applications.

Our products meet essential preservation and protection needs - from in‑can preservation to disinfectants for hygiene and wood preservatives for long‑lasting durability.

Our products serve as high‑performance rubber additives widely used in the tire industry.

SCOPEBLUE: OUR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCT RANGE

The "Scopeblue" label of LANXESS identifies products with circular - recycled or biobased - raw materials or a particularly low carbon footprint compared to conventional products.

Only products that meet at least one of the following two criteria can receive the ScopeBlue label:

>  The products contain at least 50% sustainable raw material + 10% reduced Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)
>  The carbon footprint of the products is at least 50% lower than that of conventional products.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) AT LANXESS

LANXESS India carries out CSR to act responsibly, support sustainable development, and create a positive impact on society and the environment. CSR is integrated into business decisions, aligned with company values, linked to core expertise, and complies with India’s CSR legal requirements. At LANXESS, CSR focuses on four pillars: Education, Water, Climate Protection, and Culture.

Rainwater Harvesting 

In order to meet the water needs of the community in Jhagadia and Nagda, LANXESS had undertaken the Rainwater Harvesting project which involved collecting rainwater from the identified villages and recharging the ground water levels.

Solar Roofing at government schools and hospital

LANXESS has supported government schools and hospital with solar panels thereby meeting their electricity demand.

Installation of solar streetlights

Keeping in mind the challenges faced by the local communities in Jhagadia, LANXESS has installed solar-powered streetlights in nearby villages.

Upliftment of government schools

To uplift the literacy rate of the community and enrich suitable environment of education, LANXESS provided educational aid along with infrastructural support.

Setting up of digital smart classrooms

In order to further enhance the quality of education in Jhagadia and Nagda region, LANXESS supported the municipal schools by providing interactive e-learning tools.

Setting up of chemistry laboratory

LANXESS has set up a chemistry lab for students in the Nagda Government school. The support included aiding the school with latest instruments and apparatus along with infrastructure to be used by the high school students.

To help medical institutions tackle the COVID -19 situation better, LANXESS donated advanced German ventilators to hospitals.
