Job Highlights

 

  • Leading the Business Line Functional Tire Additives (BL FTA) of our Business Unit Rhein Chemie (RCH) with global profit & loss responsibility
  • Developing and implementing the short-, mid- and long-term strategy to ensure profitable growth
  • Defining the overall price, volume and product strategy
  • Driving the whole Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the BL FTA
  • Guiding the RCH Regional Business teams within their respective sales activities, directing the global sales activities with strategic customers and key accounts, driving organic growth and negotiation of main global contracts
  • Providing effective leadership for the management team (selection and motivation of key personnel, performance review, etc.), setting individual and overall business goals
  • Strategy lead for major global key accounts in tire manufacturing
  • Controlling and ensuring compliance (e.g. HSEQ) for all activities within the BL
  • Globally responsible for FTAs inventories

Requirements

 

  • Masters Degree (Chemistry, Science or Business Administration)
  • Professional Experience in various roles (preferably: Production & Marketing) > 10 years
  • Develop business strategy and vision, derive and implement strategic decisions and identify business opportunities based on market/customer analysis to maximize value and minimize risk under consideration of overall group strategy (e.g. pricing, customer segmentation, portfolio strategy)
  • Lead successful contract negotiations with customers / suppliers
  • Ensure operational excellence and increase business process efficiency (e.g. Supply/Production planning, operational processes)
  • Successful leading of interdisciplinary and international teams also in challenging times (e.g. restructuring, implementing/leading transformational change projects)
  • Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
