French speaking Sales Manager (f/m/d) EMEA Polyurethanes

Job Highlights

 

  • Commercial responsibility for the sales of products and services in France, Switzerland, Austria, part of Germany
  • Manage existing accounts (mid-size local companies as well as international accounts and other channels) and establish relationships to customers as basis for negotiation of future business etc.
  • Plan the development of an account by knowing it´s needs and Business Unit Urethane´s portfolio that can be used to serve with the responsibility to coordinate the support coming from other departments
  • Develop new potential customers based on own initiative and knowledge of the market
  • Identify new technical opportunities at new and existing clients based on own technical understanding of URE products and in cooperation with the Application Development department (identification of new technical developments in new/modified applications at potential accounts)
  • Close cooperation with product management, application development, marketing, customer service to ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Special tasks (e.g. representing EMEA in growth projects)

Requirements

 

  • Master degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science and ideally post graduate business qualification 
  • 5-10 years experience in Sales of Speciality Chemistry to a wide range of different markets
  • Basic technical understanding of Polyurethanes processing and Polyurethanes chemistry
  • Specialty chemistry industry knowledge in the territory 
  • Experience in managing & developing accounts and building up multi-level relationships at the accounts
  • Result oriented working style
  • Superior German, French and English skills
