Job Highlights

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Consultant Semiconductors to join our New Business Development team. Semiconductors are a growing market segment and LANXESS is interested in leveraging its specialty chemical portfolio and expertise to expand in this space. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the semiconductor industry, with a focus on specialty chemical products. Your deep understanding of the semiconductor landscape, coupled with your business development acumen, will be crucial in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.

 

  • Identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new product opportunities within the semiconductor industry
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to acquire new clients and expand market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the semiconductor industry, including customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Provide technical consulting and support to clients on the application and use of specialty chemical products in semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Lead and manage new business development projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, engineering or business
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Ideally with a distributor of specialty chemical products, with a consultancy with deep semicon expertise or within the purchasing department of a fab
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and specialty chemical products
  • (Some) willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to develop the business
