Job Highlights
- Act as strategy business partner to LANXESS business units MPP, F&F, and LPT in our consumer protection segments
- Co-develop business unit and go-to-market strategies to drive organic growth ambitions of our business units
- Manage strategy projects end-to-end and lead cross-functional corporate development and business unit teams
- Act as the primary point of contact, maintain regular communication, and manage senior management expectations along the project lifecycle
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering skill development and growth across your project teams
- Analyze supply and demand side of relevant consumers markets, dive into consumer trends, and crystallize business recommendations
- Bring-in best practices from chemical industry, peers, and beyond to continuously enhance strategic capabilities across our business units
- Assist with M&A target research as well as of portfolio measures in our consumer protection segments
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in business administration, chemistry, or similar
- Experienced strategist with several years of experience in strategy or consulting, ideally focused on commercial
- Relevant industry exposure to chemicals and/ or consumer markets
- High level of analytical capabilities and strategic thinking
- Unifier mindset, strong people skills to cater to a diverse set of senior stakeholders in an international business environment
- Preferably with international experience and mindset
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
