Job Highlights

 

  • You draw on your technical as well as industry-specific knowledge to identify market needs and opportunities for the natural antimicrobials sector in the food industry as well as related sectors such as dietary supplements or pet food.
  • You develop, test and validate new active ingredient combinations, formulations and application processes based on your technical understanding and know-how and identify relevant technical solutions
  • You identify and acquire new project partners. You will plan and guide the technical validation process in collaboration with CROs, industry partners and internal laboratories
  • You pursue strategies for long-term cooperation and networking with partners and stakeholders in the relevant market segments
  • You support the development of business cases
  • You coordinate closely with the marketing, application technology and regulatory affairs

Requirements

 

  • Master's degree in food technology, chemistry, microbiology or comparable with several years of professional experience in the corresponding field
  • Several years of professional experience in the food industry, preferably in food preservation technologies and microbiology
  • Good network and knowledge of the food industry
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as experience in interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop and position new products and applications for natural antimicrobial preservation of food and related products
  • Willingness to travel to support customer projects globally
