Job Highlights

  • Manage the Commercial and Technical department with a team of 7 people, driving the BU RCH business for North America Region.
  • Responsible and accountable for the regional sales revenue around 170 Mio Euros.
  • Manage the BU RCH customers across the North America region, including distribution partners.
  • Responsible for sales budget preparation and also for forecast maintenance to support business Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Be part of the North America management team, to be a contributor and executor on strategy creation and implementation.
  • Represent both BLs, FTA - Functional Tires Additives and SRP - Special Rubber Products, in the North America region, coordinating the local activities and also being the main key contact to the headquarters and global marketing teams.
  • Overview price strategy and manage variable margin to maximize sales and profit for the BU.
  • Develop market studies to enhance the rubber business understanding in a regional basis, supporting the market team on the global strategy implementation, but emphasizing the regional customer needs.
  • Organize exhibitions, conferences and customer activities in North America.
  • Supervise and mentor the Sales and Technical teams.
  • Manage the application development department with focus on providing technical support to customers and develop new business.

Requirements

  • Engineering / Chemistry bachelor's degree (Must), MBA or equivalent (advantage).
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience proven on the Rubber Market for North America business is required.
  • People management skills, SAP and CRM knowledge, good communication skills spoken and written. 
  • Language skills: English (Must), Spanish and German (advantage).
  • Minimum 10 years of Business management experience.
  • Experience managing a diverse team.
  • Customer oriented mindset.
