LANXESS is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take charge of our maintenance operations at our Botlek site. This is your chance to make a real impact—ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency in a dynamic setting.

As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a skilled team covering operational maintenance, turnarounds, reliability, and inspection. Your mission: keep our facility running safely and smoothly, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. You’ll be part of the site management team, influencing strategy and delivering on key business objectives.

 

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire the Maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.

• Ensure compliance with all internal and legislative requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement through KPIs and best practices.

• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance—always safe, on time, and within budget.

• Take decisive action during breakdowns and critical situations, safeguarding safety, environment, and cost.

• Collaborate across the site to deliver BU requirements and contribute to strategic decisions.

 

 

Experience / Skills

 

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 10+ years of experience in maintenance within chemical manufacturing.

• Strong technical knowledge (including BRZO compliance).

• Proven leadership and people management skills.

• Expertise in change management and driving improvement.
