Your Role
As Reliability Manager, you will lead and coordinate all reliability and maintenance engineering activities, ensuring that installations, buildings, and infrastructure deliver safe, compliant, and high performing operations—today and into the future.
You will:
- Define and continuously improve long term maintenance strategies
- Drive preventive and condition based maintenance concepts
- Support operations in solving complex technical challenges
- Own the reliability roadmap, spare parts strategy, and improvement initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop a high performing reliability engineering team
This role works closely with Operational Maintenance, Inspection (IVG), Projects, Operations Engineering, as well as external suppliers and service providers.Key Responsibilities
Reliability & Maintenance Strategy
- Develop, analyze, and continuously improve maintenance plans to ensure asset integrity, regulatory compliance, and required performance levels
- Ensure maintenance execution is prioritized correctly and results are followed up effectively
- Define and manage the strategic spare parts portfolio to support reliable operations
Engineering Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Initiate and scope projects to improve installation integrity, OEE, and compliance
- Lead preventive maintenance engineering initiatives, including:
- Condition monitoring techniques
- Diagnostic systems
- Lubrication strategies
- Standardized and innovative maintenance concepts
- Apply structured methodologies such as RCA, FMECA, LEAN, and TPM
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and develop the Reliability team, conducting performance reviews and driving high engagement and efficiency
- Contribute to OPEX maintenance budget definition and support CAPEX development
- Advise on procurement decisions by balancing risk, cost, and lead time
- Participate in technical projects to ensure reliable, compliant, and operable outcomes
Experience / Skills
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 or more years’ experience in the chemical or process industry
- Experience in maintenance optimization and reliability engineering
- Leadership and project management experience are a strong advantage
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of maintenance optimization techniques (RCA, FMECA, LEAN, TPM)
- Proven commitment to safety, compliance, and asset integrity
- Experience with continuous improvement and change management

- Able to manage priorities and maintain overview in complex environments
